ROBOCAMpro


I was contracted by a company called ROBOCAMpro to design, develop and construct all the robotics to control a 4 axis motion control rig for the Audio/Visual industry. I designed and constructed all the robotics for the ROBOCAMpro minus all the mechanical aspects of the ROBOCAMpro. The most complicated aspect was the 4 axis full synchronous servo control of the the ROBOCAMpro. I designed the electronic circuit and PCB. The real time servo control is achieved using a micro controller that I programmed along with a Blue-tooth communications system which I created that communicates with the master PC program that I programmed. The ROBOCAMpro is controlled via a 4 channel remote control. I created a USB interface for the remote control enabling communication between the ROBOCAMpro and the 4 channel remote control. The interface uses a PCB and micro controller that I designed and programmed along with a USB communications system which I created that communicates with the master PC program that I programmed.
