Each motor needs an
absolute encoder too with a
limiting device to restrict movement to a settable range of angle.
The current of each motor should be monitored too, to work out the motor forces.
ADC’s are also required to convert real world measurements to digital, so that the control computer can monitor them.
Many digital input ports and output ports are needed so that other digital devices can be plugged in.
This Multi Channel DC Motor Control Board comes with all you will need to get the most out of your project!
- 8 channel 30 A, H-bridge DC Motor controller. That individually controls 8 DC motors with forward,
reverse, speed. Up to a whopping 30 A’s continues. Up to 40V each motor. Controls low current motors just as well,
forward/reverse PWM, Global PWM, ADC current to 8-bit digital for each motor to monitor motor current hard wired into expanded
input port, one revolution rotary encoder with 8-bit digital for each motor to monitor each motor’s position hard wired into
expanded input port.
- Each H-bridge motor controller has position protection “A limiting Device” that uses the absolute encoder
for closed loop position protection. Two pots for each motor can limit each motors position.
There is also a jumper to bypass the Limiting Device for continues revolutions.
- Each H-bridge motor controller has thermal protection and current limiting which makes them almost them almost
indestructible
- 16 channels ADC with 8-bit digital out hard wired into expanded input port. With one extra chip 32 channels are available.
- One 8-bit output port.
- Four 8-bit input ports.
- By using the current measurement feature of the board, the force that the motor is exerted can be calculated because
there is a direct relationship between the current output and the torque that the motor is exerting at its output
- 6-14V DC input with DC connector for IC’s.
